YOUR INDIE EDITOR AND YOU

Presented By: Eilis Flynn

REGISTRATION DATES: September 26 - October 31, 2024
WORKSHOP DATES:  November 1-15, 2024
REGISTRATION FEE: $25 Members /  $35 Non-Members

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:

You know this scenario: You have written your story. Hurray! Before you publish it, though, it will need editing.

This workshop is for authors who are considering what they need next for their manuscript, whether it’s editing (in all its forms) or building it (with the help of a book coach or critique partner). It encourages reflection on your current work and provides information to help identify the next logical step.
Each of the six lessons includes a guiding handout and ends with a discussion question of the day that participants are encouraged to answer in the comments section, reply to other answers, and engage with the instructor, Eilis Flynn, who has forty years of editing experience and will be checking forums and commenting throughout the workshop.

Format: Self-paced workshop with lessons shared Monday/Wednesday/Friday over two weeks with discussion questions each day and instructor engagement in the Mighty Platforms portal.

Objectives and Outcomes: Participants will learn what they need to do to finish and polish their written work for publication by finding their ideal editor. A handout is included for smoothing their work.
