Bio: 

Suzanne Nugent is a bestselling author and award-winning screenwriter committed to exploring women's lives through poignant comedy. She was shortlisted for the Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting and has received accolades from the Denver Film Festival and the San Francisco Writers Conference. She holds a dual degree in journalism and film from University of Massachusetts at Amherst and studied screenwriting at UCLA. Suzanne’s debut novel Brunch and Other Obligations, received a Best Book Award from American BookFest. She hosts a weekly podcast Character Development, where innovators, authors, and artists talk about creative process and real-life character arcs. Through Adaptation Coaching, Suzanne empowers fellow authors to adapt their novels for screen with integrity.
