**NOTE: Due to the popularity of this week's webinar, we will be handling it differently to accommodate a larger audience. The first 100 people who join the webinar on Zoom will be able to watch via Zoom. For overflow WFWA audience, we will be sharing the video live in the WFWA Facebook Group. The only difference in the Facebook Group will be a slight delay and the inability to post comments and questions in the Zoom chat and Q&A. Remember that all webinars are recorded and are accessible for members on the WFWA website (you can access easily under "Quicklinks" on the home page).

Description: 2020 has been an interesting year to launch any book, never mind a debut novel! The 2020 debut authors in the women's fiction category have collaborated and would like to share our expertise in what we've learned about marketing through each of our book launches. What worked, and why? What tactics and investments were not worth our time and money? We'd love to help you improve your own book marketing and launches, by sharing the breadth of our experiences in this 90-minute deep-dive session.

Bio:

The 2020 Debuts (soon to be followed by 2021 debuts) is a collective of traditionally published authors with their first book releasing, who support and uplift each other throughout their debut year. Learn more and see all of the participating authors at www.2020debuts.com or follow us at www.facebook.com/debuts2020 or www.instagram.com/debuts2020. Lainey Cameron, one of the #2020debuts is a digital nomad and author of women’s fiction. A recovering tech industry executive, her award-winning novel, The Exit Strategy, was inspired by a decade of being the only woman in the corporate boardroom. It’s been called a “rallying call for women to believe in themselves and join together” and tells the story of a Silicon Valley investor who first meets her husband’s mistress across the negotiating table. She’s a proud member and volunteer with Women’s Fiction Writers Association, believes community makes the author's life worthwhile, and is on a mission to obliterate the term aspiring writer.
