Description:

We all want a plot that keeps readers hooked. We want to show not tell. We want engaging characters our readers will turn the page for. One of the most overlooked tools to help you achieve these writing goals is the use of movement and action. Movement conveys so much about your characters and the world they live in. If you struggle with passive characters or dead spots in your narrative drive, join award-winning author Kerry Chaput to learn tips and tricks to bring the action to your manuscripts. Kerry writes historical action-adventure about young women. In this presentation, she’ll walk you through the basics of movement and how to use it to support your writing goals. Whether you dream of conquering a fight scene, or simply want to punch up the tension in a quiet moment in your manuscript, these practical techniques will give you the confidence to move characters through your story, and bring your readers along for the adventure.
