thor, a lawyer, and a mom. She started her professional life in corporate l
aw, working in venture capital, tech start-ups, and mergers & acquisiti
ons. She loved the start-up world so much she ended up being the first hire
of an educational technology company, where she was Chief Compliance Offic
er before the company was acquired by Google. During that time, Jennifer wr
ote a novel (not about start-ups or Google, but that could be interesting).
Jennifer loves short trips with her family (leave while you’re still havin
g fun), kayaking (but not into the wind), and discovering a podcast or TV s
eries that sucks her in from start to finish. She lives near Annapolis, Mar
yland with her husband and two kids.
