Join
us in a fun, fast, and productive workshop to polish a 50-word pitch and a
twitter pitch. You'll get a chance to post both pitch versions of one manus
cript, get feedback from peers, revise once, and then get follow-up feedbac
k.
The Prepare Your Pitch workshop will run twice in 2019, in a dvance of our two Agent Pitch Events.
Participation in Prepar e Your Pitch is a stand alone workshop, however we strongly advise particip ating in this workshop if you intend to join the Agent Pitch Event. Those w ho did the Prep your Pitch in advance last year received significantly more agent requests during the online Pitch Event.
The workshop tak es place in a forum setting where you will be grouped into subgenres with peers. You will be part of a fair feedback environment by givin g reciprocal feedback to everyone who gave you one and by supporting every member in your group either through critique or encouragement. Comments on any pitch throughout the forum is encouraged as well.
Fr ee for all WFWA members, however you will be expected to provide feedback t o other members, so please only sign up if you have ample time to participa te. We expect you to cancel at least five days in advance if you are unable to join.
All pitches must be from a WOMEN'S FICTION m anuscript. Posts of pitches from genres other than women's fiction will be removed.
A note: completion of this workshop does not automa tically prequalify your participation in Agent Pitch Day. You must register separately for each event.
